Concentrating their business online, Unibet have obviously done their research into what their customers want from a betting site. The look of the site is very clean and easy to read. Unibet App Download
The thing all these different apps have in common, though, is how you download them. So here’s a quick guide to downloading app from Unibet:
- For Android devices you normally download apps from the Google Play store but Google don’t allow betting apps in their store
- Instead, you will need to first go to the Unibet website here – www.unibet.co.uk/apps/betting – where you will be able to start your app download
- You also need to allow ‘unknown sources’ onto your device
- Select ‘settings’ (or ‘apps’ on some phones)
- Then just tick the ‘unknown sources’ box
- You can then download the apps from the Unibet apps page which can be easily found on the main menu on the home page
- Downloading an app for an iPhone or iPad is even easier. All iOS devices can download apps from the iTunes app store. Just find the app you want to download and hook up your device
Mobile betting is the most convenient way to bet as you are confined to your home or a traditional high street bookie. By downloading an app to your smartphone or tablet device you also gain access to live streaming of hundreds of sports events and can take advantage of the great in play markets that Unibet offer. You can even use your bonus money you received for losing your first bet after signing up using the Unibet bonus code.

Frequently asked questions about Poker
How many poker tables can I play at any one time?
If you download the software onto your PC or Mac you can play at as many cash or tournament tables as you want. But if you have decided to play through the browser or on a tablet you can only play one at a time.
Can I change seats in a poker game?
If you leave the table you can come back to a different seat but if you return within 90 minutes you have to have the same amount of chips that you had when you left.
Changing the Odds
Depending on what you are used to – and maybe how much experience you have of online betting – you might expect the odds offered on a particular event to be presented in a certain way. Traditionally bookies have shown the odds in a fractional form, such as 3/1. This would mean that if your pick came in with odds of 4/1 you would win four times your stake and get your stake returned as well.
But there are other ways to present odds and you can choose which way you would like them to be shown. You could go for Decimal. If this was the case your 4/1 odds (in fractional terms) would become 5.00. An easy way to work it out is that it turns into how much you would receive for a £1 bet.
The last option is termed American. Now your 4/1 – or 5.00 – would become +400. These are all just different ways to express the same odds. You don’t lose out using any particular way over another, they are all the same. It all depends on what you are used to and what you find easiest to understand when you are looking to place a bet.
However you want the odds to be presented is up to you but the way to change them is, when you have some markets open, scroll down to the bottom of the menu running down the left hand side of the screen. Right at the bottom there is an ‘Odds Format’ option. Click on the drop down menu and you will be presented with the three different options.
You can always change again in the future so don’t worry too much about this if you are happy with the way you have it set out to begin with.
Live Betting with Unibet
An area of betting that has become very popular in the last few years is the in play markets. What this means is that, as well as placing a bet on an event before it begins, you can also bet on events after it has started and throughout the event.
Unibet cover a whole host of sports so you are sure to be able to find your favourite and bet accordingly. The great thing about in play – or Live Betting as Unibet refers to it as – is that it opens up even more markets as the event goes on.
The Live Betting option is on the main menu bar that runs across the screen and by clicking here you will see the full extent of what Unibet offers.
Down the left hand side of the screen you will see the comprehensive list of all the live betting events occurring at the time that you are logged in. They are listed in sports categories so you can easily find the event you are looking for. If you are looking for a more general live betting option you might want to take a look at the centre of the screen where Unibet lists a number of Highlighted events (in a variety of sports depending what is on at the time). Underneath that is a mini list of some of the streamed events – we will look at the streaming options in greater detail in a moment.
Below that are a few events that have just started, to help you make the most of their available markets. And at the bottom are some Upcoming events that haven’t started quite yet.
The main home win, away win, draw options have their odds listed but by clicking on the event you will be able to see the full extent of the live betting markets on offer. These can range from first goal scorer to total goals and anything else that can be bet on as the event continues.
A really nice feature here for some of the bigger, more popular events is the Action Betting option. This is what you could call ‘extreme’ live betting! In a football match this could be something like next throw in, or next corner. They are split second bets that obviously become void very quickly as they happen. You should probably be careful not to get too carried away here but treated sensibly they can be a little bit of fun as the main event goes on.
Streaming Sports on Unibet
We mentioned it just a minute ago but another great feature of the Unibet site is their live streaming service. This is where you can watch events as they happen. Not all events are available but at any given time you could be watching top European football or world class tennis or even volleyball.
You can check to see if the event is able to be streamed by looking if there is a little TV icon next to the event in the list of live betting markets. Alternatively you can click on the Unibet TV option in the left hand menu. By doing this you will be presented with a list of events that are currently able to be streamed. You can also look ahead over the next week as well as filter your results by sport.
Just click on the event you want to watch and a screen will appear. You can even choose to expand to a separate screen or just watch while checking the available markets as the odds change depending on what is happening in the event.
Online betting companies are fond of claiming that these live betting options make sports more exciting. Whether this true or not is debateable but it definitely maintains the interest for longer and makes you care about fixtures that you may not have bothered about if you were not having a bet on the outcome.
Frequently asked questions about streaming
I was going to watch an event on Unibet TV but it has been removed from the calendar, what has happened?
From time to time there may be events that did appear on the Unibet calendar but are then removed – or even interrupted. Usually this is because of some kind of technical issue outside Unibet’s control.
There seems to be some kind of delay on the live streaming?
If there is a small delay on the streaming compared to the live event it will be less than 10 seconds – which is actually similar to regular television broadcasts. There could also be a delay caused by the speed of the broadband you are using.
Do I have to pay any extra for watching the live streaming of sports events on Unibet TV?
There is absolutely no extra cost to be able to watch any of the live streaming events. All you need is to be a registered account holder with funds in your account. You will also still be able to watch live streaming even if you have no money in your account as long as you have placed a bet in the last 24 hours. Unibet say that they can introduce a fee for specific events depending on the cost of streaming but this would be very clearly marked.
Supertoto and Superscore Betting Options
Unibet are well aware that their customers enjoy special features when it comes to sports betting – especially football betting. The old Pools coupons were extremely popular, as are the football coupons that are available on any betting site today. They are a great way to have a multiple bet including accumulators on a number of matches at any one time.
Unibet also have two extra options – their Supertoto and Superscore games.
In Supertoto you get a list of 14 matches and you will receive some kind of payout for predicting 11, 12, 13 or 14 correctly – either win, lose or draw. The actual amount of your winnings depends on a number of factors including, the number of games you correctly predicted, the amount of the prize pool available in the week you are playing, and also how many other people predicted the same amount of results as you did.
Superscore is a very similar game but you are predicting the correct score in a number of matches. It is what is called a pool betting game again which means that all the stakes placed by all the players is put into one pot and split between the winners.
Your winnings here depend on how much all the winning players initially staked on the game and also how big the prize pool on the game you are playing is.
Frequently asked questions about Supertoto
How is the winning pool distributed?
First of all you need to have predicted 11, 12, 13 or 14 of the matches. The pot is then divided according to the following percentages:
14 correct = 30%
13 correct = 18%
12 correct = 17%
11 correct = 20%
Bonus Pot #1 = 10%
Bonus Pot #2 = 5%
These amounts are then split between the number of players that correctly picked that amount of results.
Frequently asked questions about Superscore
How are the winnings calculated?
In Superscore the final odds is the total money in the pool divided by the total stake placed on that particular combination of scores. If you are lucky enough to correctly predict all the matches on a coupon you will win the final odds multiplied by the row price.
One of the reasons that Unibet is so popular – apart from the great bonuses for signing up using the Unibet bonus code! – is the extra information and content that they supply alongside their extensive list of markets.
Not content with just presenting all the sports markets that you can bet on and leaving the customer to their own devices, Unibet have discovered that if you provide more content then it is more likely that your customer will stay on the site rather than go elsewhere to get their information.
Many online betting companies have a linked – but distinctively separate – sports blog that have an always updating supply of blog pieces about current events in sport linked to various markets on offer. Depending on the betting company, these blogs can be informative and interesting articles with betting odds added on as an afterthought, or just a glorified advert for a particular sports market. Unibet’s is more the former by the way!
But Unibet don’t just hide these opinion articles and content extras away on a separate site. They have included similar areas of the site on their main menu bar so you do not have to search around trying to find the information.
Usually with betting companies the main menu is confined to a list of sports and the live streaming and in play betting options. Unibet does list them, of course, but the rest of the menu bar is taken up with options for Statistics, Live Score, Expert Opinion, News and Leaderboard.
Statistics contains a mine of knowledge and detail covering all aspects of sports from individual players to most popular matches to league tables and can be filtered by sport, region and a number of other different ways. The depth of information available is breathtaking and will excite anyone who loves to study the form and pore over the details before making a bet.
Live Score is exactly as its name suggests. It provides a handy catch all place to keep with all the scores in all the events going on a one time. Once again you can filter it to your taste depending on sport, or event time. As well as telling the customer whereabouts in the event you are at any given time, it also provides the latest odds for the main markets pertaining to the event as well.
Expert Opinion provides links to the blogs that we mentioned earlier as well as introducing some of the resident experts at Unibet. At the time of writing the experts are Glenn Hoddle for football, Gavin Hastings for rugby and Graeme Swann for cricket. But the blog section contains articles from a number of informed expert writers.
The News section concentrates on news concerning Unibet’s sponsorship of sporting events as well as some event round ups and is a good companion section for Expert Opinion.
As with all online betting companies, Unibet wants to get a bigger slice of the market and knows that a big part in doing that is to get their brand known. As well as extensive betting markets and enticing odds offers any betting company knows that their name has to be the one on everybody’s lips and that usually entails catchy advertising campaigns.
Unibet’s current campaign is their ‘Luck is No Coincidence’ concept. The idea is very simple and makes a lot of sense. It celebrates research and knowledge to be used to make informed bets. As much as sport is unpredictable, Unibet extolls the virtue of specialist knowledge when making selections and placing bets.
It is this ‘insider’ knowledge that will win you more money as you use what you know to inform your selections.
Unibet put across the concept in a catchy and humorous manner that should attract new customers and keep their name in the mind of the viewer.
Knowing that it pays to keep existing customers happy as well as offering promotions to entice new account holders, Unibet have a constant stream of promotions.
Again found on the main menu bar, these special offers list what you can get in the Sports section as well as Casino, Poker and other areas of the main site.
